In 2014 Andy came across the concept of the micropub that began in Kent. In 2015 it became a little more than a dream, when he finally found the right premises. Fortunately, the funds came at just the right time too. He got planning permission and then the hard work doing the refurb began. It took eight months of working on days off and evenings before we could finally open.
We are proud to say that we did a lot of the work ourselves including building the cellar from scratch, building the bar area and refurbing a lot of old furniture. We opened the door in August 2016 and the rest is history. Andy is really enjoying it.
